and their humans

For dogs over 4 months I can only propose individual lessons to learn the Basics and to attend the OPEN GROUP course later on. But in this group course we do not let the dogs play.

This course is for dogs aged between 2 and 4 months.

1 first individual meeting of one hour (during the week)

4 group courses of 45 minutes (on Saturday)

2 individual lessons of 45 minutes (during the week)

In the 2 individual lessons we will work on Recall and Loose Leash Walking.

The 2 individual lessons must be taken within the 4 weeks while the group course is running otherwise the lessons are lost (no money refund).

PRICE: 247,90 Euros + 17% VAT = 290 Euros

From  end of october until end of January last appointment at 16h00

From February until end of march last appointment at 17h00

From April until October last appointment at 18h30

From Tuesday to Thursday

Send me an Email to receive the enrolment form.

During the last months spaces at the puppy school have been reserved weeks in advance and been cancelled only a day before the start of the class. The consequence is that other puppies did not get a space in a puppy class. Such short-noticed cancellation are a big financial loss for the dog school as it is impossible to fill the space within a few hours. That's why from 2021 I am forced to ask for an advance payment of 50% of the price to reserve a space in the puppy school. This advance payment can be refunded when a cancellation is done 2 weeks before the beginning of the class. Half of the advance payment are refunded when the cancellation is done one week before the beginning of the class. No money refund if you cancel the class less than a week before the beginning of the class.

To work properly on the socialisation of the puppies, there will be maximum 5-6 puppies per group.

Due to the actual Corona measures, maximum 2 persons are allowed to come with the puppy to the class.

Please be aware that the group lessons have to be attended 4 weeks in a row on Saturday. It is not possible to miss one lesson and to come to another group lesson later. A missed lesson is a lost lesson.

We ask you to arrange yourself to be able to come during 4 weeks in a row to the puppy group lessons.

Money will not be given back if you missed a group lesson!

No money back if you decide to stop participating in a course.

Please be aware that a class can be cancelled during autumn/winter due to the bad weather conditions. This would mean that a course may last a week longer than planned.

The course may also take place sometimes at another place than in Dahlem, e.g. Animal Park in Esch

!!!!! INFO: Your puppy aged 8 weeks is allowed to come to the puppy school. He needs to have his first vaccination. No need to wait until all the vaccinations are done otherwise you miss the whole socialisation period of your puppy. As a veterinarian since 18 years I would not propose puppy school if it would be a sanitary risk. We live in Luxembourg and not in a country with feral dogs running around. The risk of behaviour problems are much bigger than the risk of viral diseases.

Only suitable for people who

- want to live in harmony with their dog

- don't want to work with aversive methods

- want to have fun during training

- are fed to get useless and / or brutal advice

After the puppy school you can continue on to the OPEN GROUP course. You will receive more information about this after the puppy school. There are currently no fixed teenage groups. There are a lot of young dogs in the OPEN GROUP course. The course is more flexible. You don't have to come every weekend. This course always takes place on Sunday morning.
